Works as promisedNovember 16, 2008 The TiVo had a couple of issues connecting to this initially, but since then it's worked without a hitch. It provides SIGNIFICANTLY more storage and as a result, I haven't missed any of my favorite shows for quite a while.

A better price than direct from TiVo. It was very easy to install and works seamlessly.
If you have the TiVo HD this is a must have to give you needed storage space.

I simply unplugged my TiVo HD, connected this thing, then plugged the TiVo back in. After going through the TiVo menu to activate it, TiVo rebooted itself again and everything is working exactly as expected.
I just wish TiVo didn't take so long to reboot...waiting through two reboots was the only thing that was less than ideal.

I went from 20 hrs of HD space on my Tivo to 80 hrs. It was easy to set up and within a half hour it was ready to go!
Well Worth the InvestmentNovember 9, 2008 My DVR is shared by the family in our exercise room. Everyone in the family wants to watch their special TV shows when they exercise daily. The WD DVR Expander took my Time Warner Scientic Atlanta 8000 HD DVR from 20 hours of HD programming to 80 hours of HD programming. My family now thinks I'm a genius!
