Excellent for all ages!August 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this puzzle for my three and four year old daughters. When I first opened it I was a bit skeptical that they would be able to do it(it took me a bit to figure out). Once we did it together a couple of times, they now know where a majority of the pieces go and love putting it together! They are also able to name some of the larger countries. Not only are my daughters learning, but myself as well!! This is a great product and I plan on buying the rest of the collection as well.
Awesome tool for learning geographyJune 22, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I don't have kids. I actually bought this one for myself and my wife. We live overseas and don't want to be "ugly Americans." We decided to learn all(?) the countries of the world. This is one of our primary tools for doing it. It's really a great tool for doing that.
Honestly, I can't tell you if it'd be a good tool for kids. We'll hold on to them and use them with our kids when we have some, but for now, I can only say it's a great way for adults to learn geography.

These puzzles are great for getting your geography straight...helps get all those countries you've heard of and THOUGHT you knew where they were in place. Because the puzzle pieces are cut along country lines you are much more aware of size, borders etc. My grandkids liked them; my son said, "We ought to put these together once a month;" and I enjoyed doing them too.
Durable, learning toolAugust 18, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Took this product to Africa to share with African teachers, who had never done a jigsaw puzzle - ever! They loved it! Different colors of countries on puzzle makes it very appealing. Pieces were tough and thick. None were tiny. Some were small and for age 5 and under, could be lost if not careful. But the joy on their faces made it all worth while.
