I purchased this as sort of an afterthought, for my daughter's 3rd birthday, not really expecting too much from it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much she enjoyed playing with her newest friend, it has even found a special spot next to her at night.
It has only been a few weeks since she has had it and I've had to wash and rewash 'Pony-Poo' (her chosen name for Pinky Pie) several times. I am very pleased that this is machine washable, can't tell you how much time I have spent scrubbing the unknown off the stuffed critters that you can't just toss in the wash.
This pony is made of a nice warm sweater-like material, sort of handmade feel to it & seems to be holding together wonderfully even after being drug around by a very active child for the past few weeks. There are adorable applique like patches, embroideries as well as lovely soft ribbons that accompany twisted/braided hair for the mane and tail. I thought this might be a disappointment, that the hair can't be brushed but my daughter really doesn't miss that aspect at all, she has a great time twisting them together to make new patterns in the 'braids'. All in all, I would recommend purchasing this for any pony-lovin' wee one.

My daughter saw this and requested it for her bday. It is very cute. As another reviewer stated it sort of looks handmade. Soft and cute.

The plush pony seems very well made and the colorful nature of it will appeal almost all girls. I cant see anything bad with this item. Superb quality for the price.

I purchased both styles so both of my daughters would have their own pony. Both Cherilee and this one (Pinkie Pie) remind me of older, yarn made plushes. Their bodies are soft and durable, easy to wipe off with a yarn like feel. The legs have little patches and gives it that "homemade with love" look as well. Since My Little Ponies are not that cuddly for bedtime (being plastic and all) this is the perfect companion for nighttime snuggles. My daughters love them and swap the two ponies between them frequently. A good buy for pony lovers.
