| Customer Reviews:
Motherboard failed after 6 months January 2, 2009 Mine was a complete piece of junk. I bought it in April 2008 from Dell specifically because they were still offering Windows XP. However, the system's motherboard failed after 6 months. Dell sent a replacement computer, but the new system was Vista OS. I'm still trying to get it sorted out. I'll never order from Dell again.

Inspiron 530 runs fine sometimes, other times it just reboots in the middle of working. Memory configuration not showing up right in Windows but memory test are all okay. Dell has refused to honor their warranty and will not send a replacement. I've spent over 20+ hours re-installing Windows and all my applications, music, photos, etc - per their tech support's request - and still it crashes. Then they told me that should remove the memory cards each and every time the system reboots - in order to release the static.
