The A601X operates on the Watch Company Operating System (WOS 2.5) used by most watch manufacturers, which employs a two-button system. The right button is used for start and stop, the left for split and release. The A601X stopwatch features cumulative-split timing. The cumulative (CUM) time is the capture of elapsed time to current event and consists of all splits beginning to end. The split time is the interval of time measured from the start of the timing to the next pause of time.
The A601X also features the one-button start-split-split system where the first split is first place, the second split is second place, and it shows a one-two fast finish. nice stopwatchSeptember 10, 2008 This stop watch is easy to see since it has large numbers. You know the buttons are pushed since it has a firm click. It would have been nice if it had a light since I may go to the track at dusk, but I knew it didn't before I purchased it. For the price, this stop watch is worth it with or without a light since I didn't want to pay more than $20 for a stopwatch.
Great watchAugust 20, 2008 This is a great watch. It doesn't beep which is nice for testing situations and the buttons are nearly impossible to accidentally double click.

Solid.July 9, 2008 We bought one of these in blue and one in green to replace 2 cheaper stop watches. (The less expensive stop watches worked fine until they got wet so we were looking for something that was a little water resistant...) Besides being more water resistant this watch has a more substantial feel than the cheap watches (i.e. though smaller, it's a little heavier). It has a nice feel in your hand. The ability to catch 2 close finishes for the same event is also a really nice feature, though be aware that if you'll want to record the first time before viewing the second time because there is not a way to flip back and forth between them.
We got a green one and a blue one. Both like the blue color better.

The stopwatch is great. The seller sent a really old manufacture, so old the 5 year warranty was expired. It was obvious since the manufacturer put the warranty expiration date on the back of the stopwatch. The seller has been unresponsive. I am wondering how long the batteries will last. Be careful who you buy from!
