As advertisedJanuary 5, 2009 I have only used it a couple of times but it works great. Magnification is the same as the ones at the jewelry stores.
Great Product at a Low PriceDecember 29, 2008 This may not be a loupe for the professional, but for the Average Joe (like me) it is a wonderful product to help you magnify those small projects. I purchased mine to use occasionally for inspecting certain small parts on my cars engine...this is exactly what I needed.
The only reason that I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it isn't a "high-end" loupe...but it is something that is more geared towards those of us that don't want to spend $30 for a Bausch&Laumb.
Wonderful for a HobbyistDecember 7, 2008 This item is nearly perfect. It's easy to hold, has a nice lanyard hole, and swivels with the perfect amount of resistance.
The only problem, and it's very slight, is that mine has a very slight chip in the glass. It's not a problem for me, however, because I'm a hobbyist and don't need a professional-grade loupe and this one is perfect for my needs.
