The optical zoom has a power of 16x, letting you capture moments up close. The digital gamma control automatically corrects dark areas of an image to make the image brighter and clearer. i have the VL-AH130 sharp viewcam, and im not sure if this is the same thing. its a great camcorder, i just lost the cords for it and couldnt figure out if this is just a new model of mine.

Sharp VLA111U 8mm Viewcam is a good buy. A friend gave me a Sharp Viewcam as a gift and I'm really satisfied with the features and functionality of the product. It is comparable with other brands such as Canon and Sony. Everything else is okay except for the weight. I wish it can be a bit lighter though.
