This multi-format P2 HD camcorder features superb recording in 1080i, 720p, 480i, 576i and in a total of 17 high definition and standard definition formats, including 24p. Designed to support versatile compression rates, the AJ-HPX2000 is switchable between DVCPRO (HD, 50, 25) and DV as well as the new optical AVC Intra codec, the industry's most advanced video compression technology. The camera holds up to five P2 cards and offers continuous recording, allowing users to hot swap and replace P2 cards as well as loop record without interrupting the recording. The AJ-HPX2000 is a top performer in low and bright light conditions with a 14-bit AD processor to deliver a high sensitivity of F11 at 2000 lux and a minimum illumination of 0.007 lux (at plus 74 dB gain).
