Great Family GrillSeptember 1, 2008 For my family of four. This grill has been outstanding. It was easy to assemble and has preform GREAT! I'm very happy I bought this beauty.
Best gas grill I ever ownedAugust 31, 2008 Took less than an hour to set up. Solid product, looks great, not "tinny" nor "tiny" heavy rock solid construction.
Heats up very fast - to 450 degrees within 1 minute. 550 degrees in another 30 seconds. -wow!!!!!!!!!
Cooks GREAT steak with seared in flavor - charred outside, rare inside the only way I like steak. MEANWHILE rhe warming eack allows me to cook up a "medium" steak at the same time. This is how my wife likes her steak - although cooking a good steak to medium is a waste of good meat.
Anyway - as you can probably tell, we are commited PETA people - People Eating Tasty Animals - and for all people like us, this is the gas grill for you. Of course you could spend $7000 and get something that cooks just as well as the Q320 -except it would use more propane gas quicker.
This Q320 is the gas grill to buy. Beware the earlier model Q300 which is the same grill, but without the warming tray, the really cool LED light on the top, and without a battery powered ignition switch.
I luv it. and will use it next to my Weber charcoal grill that I bought back in 1971 and is still working like a champ. Its gratifying to see an AMERICAN company can still put out the highest quality, most competitive product setting the GOLD STANDARD for the competition.
Outdoor oven--not a grillAugust 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product was easy to assemble and is easy to use. It lights first time, every time. Heat is easy to control. The elevated rack is great for finishing small steaks after they have been seared. However, unlike gas grills that use lava rocks, this one gives foods no grilled, smoky flavor whatsoever. It's an outdoor oven, not really a grill. A grill pan on the stove is a much less expensive option. That said, I do plan to make the best of it and get the griddle inserts to "grill" pizzas outside.
Great Grill !!!August 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been very pleased with Weber and their high quality products. This Q320 is no exception. Before I ordered this grill I've owned two Weber charcoal and one Q100 gas grill. Grilling on them has been a real pleasure. This Q320 offers more cooking space than my previous grills taking up a small amount of physical space. The Q320 gets up to temperature very fast. Assembly was very simple just using a screwdriver, and hammer. You will never be disappointed grilling on a Weber.
Great medium-sized grillAugust 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We've always believed in buying grills to last a season or two rather than buying a brand-name that might last longer. This grill lives up to the Weber name. The cast iron cooking grates are much better than the usual chrome-plated wire on the cheap grills. Temperature control is precise and cooking time is cut in half from the budget brands we have used in the past. I've already recommended this grill to several friends.
If you need to cook for large crowds, this isn't the best choice. But for four or six people it's perfect.
