I love this product. It's simple to use plus it cleans my jewelry, antiques and anything silver! I inadvertently got some on my faucet and it even made it look like new.
In response to the one star review...you have to rub the cleaner not just let it sit there to get a reaction!!
useful for cleaning all sorts of thingsAugust 1, 2008 I bought this product to clean some silver jewelry items, which it did just fine, but who knew that it could also be used to clean old cupboard hinges and non-silver jewelries too? We used this product on all sorts of metal surfaces and it did a great job! It's easy to use, washes off with water, and doesn't smell too bad :)

I bought this product because I wanted to clean my silver necklace. The package says that it is supposed to remove all tarnish, however after soaking the necklace in the foam for literally an hour I managed to remove just a small portion of the tarnish. The necklace looks a little bit shiner but I would not say it's a noticeable difference. The foam is just a baking soda paste and I think there's no need to pay 6 dollars to get baking soda delivered to your door. Very disappointing.

I have used this product on silver that was already clean and on hard to remove tarnish. It has improved the shine on both. After mulitple applications, the hard to remove tarnish will finally come off, and then the shine is dazzling. It is easy to use, and mild on hands and silver.

This stuff works great. Unless your silver piece is really badly oxidized, there is no rubbing involved. Just wipe it on and rinse it off. The tarnish is gone. It also seems to protect against future tarnishing. I "polished" my silver over a month ago, and it still looks wonderful. Even the pieces that are stored out in the open. Too bad the shipping price is more than the price of the item.
