Doesn't Get Any BetterJuly 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
There are several types of edible crabs, such as the Blue Crab prolific on the East Coast, the King Crab also called the Alaskan King crab, the Peekytoe crab from Maine, the Rock crab from the East coast and the Stone crab from Florida and elsewhere. I cannot have claimed to have had them all but my current preference if by far for the Dungeness crab. I would be shocked to find one I prefer more. The canned crab typically found in a supermarket will not say Dungeness on it, or I have not found one that carries Dungeness. And if it does not say Dungeness it will taste very different and in my opinion be of an inferior quality. The WildPlanet product is great when you can't buy it fresh. Each bite takes me back to the Oregon coast where I have typically eaten fresh crab.
