I'm just getting started in the DSLR area, and I'm on a very tight budget. I did some research on different lenses, and wanted something that would supplement the kit lens that came with my Canon Xt. I knew I wanted a 70-300 lens, and when I found this set with the 28-70 lens also included, I felt I had found a good buy. I've used both lens for a couple of months now, and I've been very pleased with both of them. I know they're not the same as the higher priced lens, but I'm extremely happy with them. They both have a good heavy feel to them, very solid; the auto-focusing works wonderfully, and when I put either lens on the camera, it always feels stable - no play in them whatever. In the future, I may move up to more expensive lens, but I imagine I'll keep a set of these on hand, as well. They were such a good buy that I can use them while traveling, and won't have to worry about damaging a high-ticket lens.
