BioCam Review September 15, 2008 It arrived very quickly and in great shape. I loved the first one so much that I bought a 2nd one for my brother
Ezonics - Good while they last! July 5, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of those EZ Bino Cam LX in the Spring of 2004. Initially, I was quite pleased with them; Although they would only work properly with NiMtl Hydride batteries (and even at that, you could not leave the batteries in the camera for any length of time), and the cycle time between shots was quite long (several long seconds), they proved quite useful for outdoor and bird photography. That is, until one day this Spring (2005), when I found out that the file system allowing the camera to store pictures was completely corrupted, rendering the camera useless. I first tried the EZonics technical support page on the company Web site, and nobody got back to me. I then pointed that out in a message to the EZonics Webmaster: No reaction. I then called the company phone line (no 1-800- number) and spoke to a technician for assistance. The guy had no idea about my problem, could not send me a program so that I could re-burn the ROM in the camera, and told me that OUT OF WARRANTY CAMERAS COULD NOT BE REPAIRED, even if I was willing to pay for the repair. This is poor product support if I have seen it. Stay away.
