Features & image quality are inconsistent. Best are: Gung Ho, Spitfire, One of Our Aircraft is Missing, Last Chance & Adventures of Tarfu. The rest are forgettable.
WWII Era Black & WhitesMarch 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you enjoy anything and everything WWII, you will enjoy this set. I'd give it 3 stars, due to the picture quality of the films, but the content is great. What can you expect from movies filmed during the war. This set was a great addition! Sit down and enjoy.

You get ten public domain WWII-era films on two double-sided DVDs in the HEROES OF WAR 10 MOVIE PACK. This is a fine way to obtain some more obscure titles, as well as sample the MILL CREEK ENTERTAINMENT catalog for a very reasonable price. If this set pleases you, their War Classics 50 Movie Pack Collection may also be of interest.
