Editorial Reviews:
Description A heart warming saga filled with tender and poignant observations on the paternal-filial relationship. Fathers and Sons take a closer look into the lives of three suburban families who share the same street. Through stories that span time and multiple generations, the fathers and sons living on Caleb's Path Road struggle to cross the chasm of alienation and past hurts to finally understand one another. With its honest and unflinching portrait of family life, Fathers and Sons will leave you uplifted about the potential of humanity and the promise of new beginnings.

The first story was pretty good. The 2nd one i thought was boring. I loved the 3rd one, i thought they could have made a movie out of that one by its self.

Rarely saw a sad story so beautifully told - and it's three of them. A must for everyone to watch - not only for fathers and sons, it's for daughters and mothers too!
Powerful masterpieceJuly 14, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Another Showtime masterpiece. Powerful, thought-provoking look into the relationships between fathers and sons. Three individual vignettes show three different sides to the issue and are loosely tied together by the fact all three families live on the same block. Ron Eldard's mesmerizing performance has to be seen to be believed. Far more talented actors would never have been able to give as magnificient a performance.
BORING Showtime movieJanuary 28, 2006 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
Thought it would be insightful but it was just dull and low-budget.
