Highly Funny and SatiricJanuary 6, 2009 This gem of a film operates way above the head of your average T&A film fan; thus BB is truly miss-understood because it is more a spoof on late night Skini-max fare than it is a pandering offering to the masses. The writing is exceptional and the dialouge outstanding.

On its surface, "Broadcast Bombshells" appears to be an entry into the crowded field of soft porn. However, it contains all of the eroticism of a "Nightline" broadcast. The steamy scenes consist of women changing clothes and women and men kissing. For you dominatrix fetish viewers out there (you know who you are) then there is also a scene where one of the women is dressed up in a dominatrix outfit. Of course, the scene goes nowhere with it.
The movie takes place at a news station in an extremely small city. What area the station covers is never revealed. The only insight we're given is that it is an even smaller market than Akron. I guess that would explain the low level of professionalism. Nobody seems to mind that the news people can't even show up to work on time, even when there is a live broadcast going on.
The "plot" consists of the only news story which the station (WSEX-TV, as if that's even remotely original) seems to cover. A mad bomber is going around town leaving incendiary devices in public places. Who is the bomber and why are they doing it? Who cares! This film is not funny, it's poorly acted and directed and is not at all erotic. A real loser all around.
