2 out of 5 stars Logitech missed the mark on this one.   November 17, 2008

Grrrr...I hate this mouse. I can't believe I threw out the packaging so I can't return it. The placement of the back button is in a horrible location, so you end up pressing it by mistake all the time. Within Outlook, if you're in the middle of a reply to an email and happen to press it the reply indicator gets placed on the wrong email. So it looks like you didn't reply to someone.

I'm going to have to either open this thing up and disable it, or superglue the button in place since I can't seem to find a software fix.

Although, other than the forward/back button placements, it's a great mouse.

5 out of 5 stars fully satisfied   November 8, 2008
Even though I live in Hawaii and everything takes long to get here this mouse came quite fast. Im not game player so dont have huge expectations from comp mouse. Computer is quite important in my life though so I do care how comfy and user-friendly is mouse. I would recommend this mouse for everyone, many buttons that you can set to different options, fits really nice to hand and even though somebody mentioned that it happens to him to press side buttons accidentally, it happened to me no more than 2 times within last week.
Once again, I recommend this mice.

4 out of 5 stars Love it!   October 29, 2008
This is a great mouse. Easy to set up and use, and very comfortable in your hand. Going cordless is the best move I've made.

3 out of 5 stars Should have paid attention to reviews about Fwd/Back buttons   October 11, 2008

I like Logitech products, but I should have paid more mind to the reviewers that had problems with the forward and back buttons. Most of them said they got used to the locations, but after month, I still accidentally hit the buttons. I wish I had gotten a mouse with the buttons up higher and not where the thumb rests.

I have a couple of laser mice, now and I don't find any advantage over optical mice.
