Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and three time #1 New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi has written the most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking book of his storied career.

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses?a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.

As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.

A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.

Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.

3 out of 5 stars Great piece of work, undermined by rants   August 21, 2008
What an important topic! Bugliosi has done the research and presents FACTS. I am not a lawyer but it appears to me that he has a pretty compelling case.

UNFORTUNATELY he fills the pages with rants and emotional statements. With such an important topic, the credibility of this book is undermined by his need to mix his opinions and emotional rants with what should have been a purely factual, unbiased and professional "Case" document. All this does is give the establishment free ammo to dismiss him as a senile old madman, undermining the credibility of the entire case. Too bad.

Nevertheless, this is a good read to allow yourself to look at facts and see what an extremist, half-witted, fanatical criminal George Bush really is.

As part of America's recovery of its legitimacy with the rest of the world, this case should go to trial to show that we hold madmen accountable, no matter what country (or country club) they come from.

I first heard of this book tonight on my drive home while listening to Dennis Miller's radio show. Bugliosi was the guest promoting his book and lambasting the MSM for ignoring him this time around. No one will touch this book for obvious reasons. Miller kept telling him to please make a point and provide one of his 'proofs' when Bugliosi continued to do nothing but rant about his hatred of Bush. It was excruciatingly uncomfortable to listen to Miller trying to keep Bugliosi on subject and answer a direct question, which he seemed unable to do. Miller finally had to tell him to stop telling Miller how intelligent he was and stop patronizing him and please answer a simple question. Dennis Miller is a skilled interviewer and even he seemed flummoxed by how bizarre this one went. Bugliosi has seemingly stepped off the curb and is so inflamed by his hatred of Bush that nothing else matters. One of the callers was a military man who had friends of his die in Iraq and he stated that he was very hurt by
Bugliosi's remarks about the war and the military. Bugliosi's comment was that the man was so in love with Bush that he couldn't understand the truth. That he wouldn't be in the military if he wasn't buying Bush's lies. Bugliosi would not accept the concept, provided by Miller, that there are some Americans who feel it is a noble duty to sign up to defend their country. I wouldn't spend a penny on this book after hearing the author's ravings.

5 out of 5 stars Wow... a tremendous work...   August 18, 2008

I have to say, WOW. As a complete and total left-wing liberal whack job, I truly appreciated this book. It absolutely confirmed every single belief I have about this President and, coincidentally, this country.

After reading many, many glowing reviews I simply had to purchase this book. I read the favorable review and it was, expectedly, FAVORABLE! I read the CRITICAL review and it was ALSO Favorable! It seems everyone agrees... Vincent Bugliosi knows everything and has written the clear, unvarnished truth for us, the ignorant masses.

Wow. Amazing book. Amazing reviews by people who OBVIOUSLY have no ulterior motives or prejudices towards the Evil Mr. Bush. I originally thought this book was yet another shoddy collection of misrepresented facts and recycled opinions backed up with dubious references... but oh, how WRONG I was.

Thanks Vince! Keep cranking out the excellent work... just like that fantastic JFK book which was equally chock-full of "facts" and "research".

Signed...

5 out of 5 stars brilliant required reading   August 17, 2008

I read Bugliosi's book overnight, enthralled with his writing yet equally disgusted with the evidence is presents. as an expert trial lawyer, he knows how to present a compelling case - beyond a reasonable doubt. when that case is against the president of the United States for the murder of 4,000 Americans, you have to take notice. There were a few instances in which he lost some of his composure and embarked upon an anti-Bush tirade. Given his topic, this simply comes across as passion of his convictions. Bugliosi comes across as clearly knowing his case and argument. I suspect, as he argues, that more evidence to support his argument may quite well be discovered. Outstanding arguments and book. If I could have had anything different, I would have wanted more direct evidence, which will be forthcoming in the next few years...
