Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Good but EXPENSIVE! September 7, 2008 I did not start buying this diaper until my daughter had a minor procedure, after she turned 1. Before that, I (with much guilt and regret) used Pampers Cruisers, because they rarely leaked. For her older brother, I used Cruisers, too. But after realizing that the perfume and the dioxins used on the Cruisers could potentially affect my daughter, especially after her operation, I wanted to opt for a "safer" diaper. I found that the Seventh Generation diapers were the best ones as far as functionality (they hold up pretty well and prevent most leaks) and availability (they are in more stores than other natural/eco brands). My one big beef with this brand, however, is their price. They are expensive and ever since they changed the tab design, they give you fewer diapers in each size. That's why I am giving Seventh Generation 3 stars. I like them as a diaper but I don't like their pricetag. I also think it's very uncool of them to give you fewer diapers now that they improved their design.
Love these diapers September 7, 2008 These diapers work just as well as other name brand diapers, but I feel better about my contribution to the environment by not using diapers that take ages to decompose in landfills. Plus, they're chlorine free, so they're healthier for my baby.
So far so good Stages NB thru 2 September 7, 2008 So far I love these diapers and have transitioned from NB to Stage 2 with my 9 week old who is growing extremely fast. Right before switching to from Stage 1 to Stage 2 we were experiencing some breastfeed poop blow outs up the back and from around his outer thigh but now that he is in a larger size there are no more leaks. (note: I change my son's diapers every 2-4 hours). Even when trying other brands we have experienced some leaks so I do not think it is a problem specifically related to Seventh Generation.
My only complaint is that several diapers were defective and had tabs that fell completely off when pulled to fasten the diaper. I have composed a letter to the company and plan to mail back these useless diapers with proof of purchased to hopefully receive replacements or a partial refund.
Considering how much extra these diapers cost each, when compared to others, I cannot just overlook 5+ defective ones, even from a pack of 44.
My son has never reacted badly to these diapers and I appreciate their "plain, no-frills" appearance.
We use these diapers at night and when on the go as a supplement to cloth diapering. I've signed up for Subscribe & Save and truly appreciate the value that I am receiving.
best diapers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 6, 2008 these diapers are great - my daugther always had rashes and we could not figure out why - after a few dermatologist appt. - i thought maybe its the diapers - tried a bunch and found these online - after 1 day no more rash - its been 10 months and she has never had a rash since. i also referred these to a friend - they love them also
Best for Baby! September 6, 2008 I've been using these diapers for 6 months now. I like em! They don't cause diaper rash at all, are environmentally friendly and are fairly leak proof except during the first two months or so. But they're very expensive and tend to run small; I always have to get the next size up. Definitely recommended!
