When I opened the shipping carton I was hit by a strong chemical odor. If you have small children you might want to leave these outside for a year or two untill the ordor dissapates. Also the rear mats are tiny. I had to use them in conjunction with the old mats to covetr the rear. If I did not have to pay for shipping I would have send them back

I am at a loss to explain the previous postings on how these excellent quality floor mats have a rubber odor. I ordered two sets of them (one for my Honda and one for my wifes BMW) and both of them emit no discernible odor whatsoever! They look great and are 100% easier to trim than the plastic floor coverings.
As with any cutting the standard advice prevails. Measure twice, measure again and then cut once. I almost cut the wrong grooves but after relaying the mat, after each cut, got all of them to fit as if they were molded for the particular car. They trim easily with a standard pair of kitchen scissors.
IMHO, can't find a better mat at this price. If there were odors Rubber Queen must have changed the formulation because both of my sets (delivered separately and in two different colors) have no odor at all.

The 'Rubber Queen 70514 bordered carpeted' 4 pc. floor mats are a nice quality rubber and carpet mat. They are a little higher priced and worth the extra cost, in the quality of the tight weave carpet and heavy rubber. The gray matched well with the gray carpet of my vehicle.
