Good Quality, Poor SizingDecember 30, 2008 The coat is of high quality fabric and craftsmanship. The style is fabulous. Unfortunately, it is advertised as a Women's coat and it is cut like a girl's/junior's coat. My mother is a small woman, so I got her the medium coat. She couldn't button it over her chest or move her arms because the sleeves were so tight. Given this company's return policy, if the large or extra large aren't cut better, we will be stuck with a gift card for a store that sells clothing only a high schooler would wear.
An Awesome BasicDecember 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a basic peacoat that wouldn't break my bank and this fits the bill! I'm a size 4 so I bought a small and it fits perfectly. I was afraid the sleeves might be too long because I'm a petite and the sleeves are just the right length. A little tight in the arms but I'm sure that's because it's just new. The coat itself is somewhat lightweight but it's warm, and a hoody fits great underneath if you need extra warth. The outside fabric is very soft, and in the inside (not visible here) there is a soft cloth leopard print lining which is a pretty touch. None of it is fleece, btw. The buttons are snap closures all the way down. The pockets are somewhat deep, which is surprising because usually with these coats the pockets are fake. I get plenty of looks when I wear this coat - it's super chic and it looks expensive but it's only $37! I might get the gray one too so I don't wear this one out.
